Who should Upgrade?

 Download
Customers using build 4400, 4410, 4411, 4420, 4430, 4431 and 4440. Should apply Service Pack 4.5 (SP 4.5) to upgrade to the latest build 4450.
Customers using build 4300, 4301 and 4310. Should apply Service Pack 3.2 (SP 3.2) to upgrade to the build 4400 and then apply Service Pack 4.5 (SP 4.5) to upgrade to the latest build 4450.
Customers using build 4200 and 4201. Should apply Service Pack 3.0 (SP 3.0) to upgrade to build 4300, and then apply Service Pack 3.2 (SP 3.2) to upgrade to the build 4400 and finally apply Service Pack 4.5 (SP 4.5) to upgrade to the latest build 4450.
Customers using build 4000, 4001, 4002, 4003, 4004, 4005, 4006 and 4100. Should apply Service Pack 2.0(SP 2.0) to upgrade to build 4200, then apply Service Pack 3 (SP 3.0) to upgrade to build 4300, and then apply Service Pack 3.2 (SP 3.2) to upgrade to the build 4400 and finally apply Service Pack 4.5 (SP 4.5) to upgrade to the latest build 4450.

Instructions to Apply Service Pack

Follow steps 1 through 9 to apply the service pack.
  1. Shut down ADSelfService Plus server. If ADSelfService Plus is running as a service, stop the service also.
    Stop ADSelfService Plus Start --> All Programs --> ADSelfService Plus --> Stop ADSelfService Plus
    Stop Service "ManageEngine ADSelfService Plus" service, if running.
  2. Please wait for a few moments till the server/service terminates completely
  3. Take a backup of the existing ADSelfService Plus by creating a ZIP file of the contents of </ADSelfServicePlusHome/> directory and save it as ADSelfServicePlus.zip in the </ADSelfServicePlusHome/> directory.
  4. Execute the UpdateManager.bat file present in the <ADSelfServicePlusHome>/bin directory.
  5. Click Browse and select the .PPM file that you have downloaded.
  6. Click Install to install the service pack. This may take several minutes depending on the amount of data that needs to be migrated, so please do not terminate the procedure prematurely.
  7. Wait until the service pack is fully installed.
  8. Click Close and then click Exit to exit the Update Manager tool.
  9. Start the ADSelfService Plus server.

How do I find out my Build number?

Log in to the ADSelfService Plus web client, and click the License link in the top pane. You will find the build number mentioned below the version number. This is the build number of the currently installed ADSelfService Plus.
